Lazee
Lazee is a strength training tracker built for lifters who want a simple, fast way to log workouts. No clutter, no subscriptions — just log your sets, track your progress, and get back to lifting.
Nov 2025 – Present
Lazee started as a way for me to learn Xcode and Swift, and turned into an app I liked enough to publish. I built it entirely on my own and have kept up with maintenance, updates, and App Store review cycles ever since.
What it does
- Log strength training sets with weight, reps, and exercise
- Track progress over time with a clean, minimal UI
- Fast to use — designed to not get in the way of your workout
Tech
- Swift + SwiftUI — native iOS development
- Xcode — full development environment
- App Store Connect — distribution, TestFlight beta testing, and release management
What I learned
Building a solo iOS app from idea to App Store taught me a lot about the full product lifecycle: designing the data model, iterating on UX, handling edge cases, managing App Store review, and keeping the app alive with ongoing maintenance. The codebase is private since it’s a live App Store product.
